Why did you #GoGreekCSUSB?
The focus on high academic achievement is one of the founding principles of sorority life. Each chapter has a scholarship chairman who is responsible for the academic success of the chapter. The scholarship chairman organizes programs including tutoring, study nights, and awards to encourage all members to achieve academic excellence. The Greek community creates an atmosphere where women are encouraged to maintain a high level of academic success, recognizing chapters and individuals for their achievements.

The CSUSB Greek community is dedicated to building future leaders for society by providing a wealth of leadership opportunities. Membership in a sorority is an excellent way to discover or refine your leadership potential. Within each chapter, members have a chance to assume a wide variety of leadership roles. Examples of these roles include serving as recruitment chair, treasurer, social chair, president, and many others.
Volunteer Service & Philanthropy
One of the most rewarding aspects of sorority life is the sense of satisfaction that comes with involvement in volunteer service. Philanthropy is when a group works together to help the community by raising money for an important cause or performing a service project. Each year, sororities support their individual national philanthropies at the local level by donating time, raising money, and participating in campus-wide volunteer projects.
